I remember when this is just an official account. It's where the latest news is freely delivered depends on the official language of your location. But really, LINE just scooped articles from the local news website. There is also banner advertisement - I think it's adsense - displayed but I don't know whether the site or LINE owns it.

I see that there's no hoax published here, but some of them have bias. Here is a comparison of same news from Reuters and local website news published in LINE TODAY. (Tap to zoom)
In my personal viewpoint, Reuters deliver the news comprehensively neutral and quoted necessary sources. The other news, in the first section with sources, exposes the wealth of the nobleman; but unfortunately, on the next section, told a seemingly unconfirmed evil deeds without any trusted source.
LINE is such a fun and handy messenger app, but this section is a downer. I suggest that they publish their own trusted media; or tighten news selection; or give reward for bona fide news.
As I said, it's amusing, and one indicator of a fascinating post is its comments. I like how criticism and honest viewpoint being appreciated, but once again, LINE need to moderate the snag of those freedom. Many of them are hate speeches, advertisement spams, account farmer spams, follower farmer spams, etc.; and by my observation, the hate speeches might have unintentionally contributed for local to national scenes.
